SYNOPSIS

Recalled to life by a feral witch and her ‘babies’ in an abandoned cemetery, Macbeth No More tells the story of an eclectic, timeless mix of people summoned to perform this short version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth one last time. Shakespeare’s immutable words are used exclusively by those plucked from a wide range of historical locations. The characters rise from their graves and are transmuted from immortal souls into actors. Their ‘audience’ is the verdant environment of their resting places together with its unseen, lifeless human inhabitants.
