Waking the Dead
SYNOPSIS
Waking the Dead is a crime drama series produced by the BBC featuring a fictional
Cold Case Unit comprising CID police officers, a psychological profiler and a
forensic scientist. The series follows the work of a special police team who
investigate “cold cases”, usually murders that took place a number of years ago
and were never solved. Det. Supt. Peter Boyd (played by Trevor Eve) is the leader
of the multi-discipline police team of detectives and scientists which investigates
old, unsolved murder cases using modern methods and new technology that may not
have been available during the original investigation.
